self love & self care
Self Love and self care are two things that most people struggle with.
I'm an observer by default, and when I look out into the world all I see that there are a lot of people suffering.
This really is the time for all of us to elevate, not just ourselves, but our brothers and sisters too.
The truth is that we are all pouring from half empty, if not empty cups...
We all must do our very best to make self love and self care a priority in our daily lives.
It's ok if you dont know where to start.
You start right where you are.
nothing is required of you.
just be present.
"Today I will make it a priority to listen to my body and give it the love and attention it needs."

When I feel my energy getting low, I grab my fluorite healing crystal and hold it in my hand.
" I release all energies that are not serving my highest good and wellbeing.
I am renewed and replenished."

I started the day with a missed call from my Dr's office, I had missed my appointment yesterday. It upset me because allllllllllll day yesterday I felt like I was forgetting something.
Then when I tried to return the call I accidentally called the number for a credit collecter. I was getting so upset with myself because I felt like my mind was confused and there really was no reason for it to be.
I made my best effort to not put my frustration onto the credit collecter and politely explained that I had called the number by accident and I would return the call later on today and hung up the phone.
So I get the right number and the lovliest woman answered my call. Shannon. We ended up having the most pleasant conversation. We talked for almost 25 minutes!
It was such a beautiful connection. We both aggreed that it felt as though we had known each other for a long time. I told Shannon that I would be sure to introduce myself properly when I come into the office.
As it turns out, she works from home and meeting in-person was not going to happen. At least not on the day of my appointment. Either way, Shannon and I both experienced mutual benefits from our impromptu chat.
Two strangers became friends. We laughed for 25 minutes and then went about our day.
It made me realize that the Universe will always connect us with those that are in alignment with our vibration and our frequency, and it really does make a difference when we pay attention to the energy we bring into any environment.
Be kind to yourself.
Be kind to others.
Be the solution.

in my spirit I know that is what it is supposed to be.
I hope as I continue on this journey, I can create a space in harmony and love, for all of my sisters out there as we heal our wounded spirits.

You are not to blame for your pain and suffering. ❤️
A lot of us get caught in an endless loop of harmful self patterns as a result of adverse childhood experiences. We often hear that it is not our circumstance that define us, but how we choose to respond to them that shows us who we truly are.
While that may be true, it is not always easy to arrive to such a simple conclusion. When it comes to to the matters of healing from traumas we experienced in our childhood, there are many barriers that need to be confronted and removed. One of those barriers is shame.
As a result of the negative experiences that we encountered as children, shame develops and manifests itself over time. Until we address the root cause or causes, feelings of shame can last a lifetime. Self compassion, along with self love and self care, is vital to your healing journey.
When you show love, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion to yourself- that is self compassion. Self compassion requires you to gently recognize your suffering, allowing yourself to feel it, and ultimately release it. Begin your healing journey today and release unhealthy self patterns.

Thank you Universe!
I'm just feeling extremely grateful today. I've worked on many projects, but this one feels different. I'm really trusting my intuition on this one.
Sometimes you are the student and sometimes you are the teacher. When you are the student, you are given an opportunity to learn something new; and when you are the teacher, you are given an opportunity to learn something new.

I know that you’re hurting right now,
but you can’t continue going through life like this,
keeping all your emotions inside.
Sooner or later they’re gonna come to the surface.
It’s better to feel your feelings and face them head on.
You’ve been strong for so long,
and I am so proud of you for not giving up,
but I need you to focus on your healing.
You may not be able to see it right now,
but you will get through this.
I encourage you to be kind to yourself,
set some healthy boundaries,
and establish a self care routine.
Just take one day,
one moment,
one breath at a time.

I woke up today thinking about how my thoughts shape my reality. All of the books I read, The mentors I listen to, my intuition, all point to the same conclusion; thoughts become things. For us to manifest sucessfully, setting clear intentions, with clarity and purpose, and aligning our vibration with what we desire is how we are able to manifest successfully. Let go of the feelings that lead you to believe that you are not enough. You are more than enough. Focus on abundance and gratitude, and as write this there is a cardinal outside my window Be well. :)

There’s something about you. So beautiful and unique, like a snowflake. You are one is a kind. Every time you look in the mirror say, “ I love you.” Say it until you believe it. I know it’s hard sometimes, like when you don’t feel your best, and it’s uncomfortable for you. You gotta let that go. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. You are a divine creation of the Most High. Believe in yourself and love yourself so much that nothing can make you ever feel like you’re less than, because you are more than enough! You are everything! Every time you talk bad to yourself about yourself, guess what, your brain will believe it. Be mindful of that inner dialogue. Your brain can’t tell the difference. If nobody ever told you, you have the power to create better thoughts and it’s up to you to make that happen. You can do it you know. You are so much stronger than you think, and it’s possible to reshape HOW you think about yourself. Start with that mirror though. It might feel a bit strange at first and even a bit emotional, but I promise you it will change the way you feel about yourself. You are so loved.

Self-love is the foundation of emotional well-being.
When you nurture yourself, you create a safe space for your emotions to be seen and felt without judgment.
It’s about treating yourself with the same compassion you would offer to someone you deeply care about.
Take a moment each day to check in with yourself.
How do you feel?
What do you need?
Whether it’s a cup of tea, a nap, or time in nature, give yourself permission to meet those needs with love.
The more you listen to and honor your emotional guidance system, the more grounded and supported you’ll feel.
Healing takes time.
Be gentle with yourself on your path to healing and self-discovery, it tales daily practice to get to know your own emotional guidance system, so don't be so hard on yourself ok.

Your body will always tell you what it needs.
When my body speaks to me, I do my very best to listen.
In the past I had labeled myself a workaholic or a worker bee, I tend to keep going and going.
Sometimes when I start a new project, say a drawing for example, my hands won't stop until the piece is finished.
At times I may take pride in myself, knowing that I accomplished something; but often I ignore the signals that my body sends me, telling me to take a break.
When I think about it, in the past, I have had issues with procrastination. Such an unhealthy self pattern.
One day I say a quote, "Procrastination is teaching you how to be a failure."
I definetly did not want to be that!
I have always seen myself as being successful.
From that moment on I wanted to "practice success"
I also know that there was a fear in me that was keeping me in that perpetual state of procrastination- I was afraid of actually becoming successful.
Crazy as it sounds, it is not uncommon.
Right, so I was talking about listening to your body...
I've learned to rest when I need to rest.
Many days and nights have come and gone where my body is on the brink of shutting itself down because I refused to listen to what it was telling me.
So many times I was behaving like a toddler who was fighting her sleep, eyes all red and puffed because I rubbed them so much. Nodding off, head just bobbing. Like, girl, just go to bed.
Healthy food chioces is another thing, I am notorious for eating my cereal right out of the box and calling it a stable meal.
My point is, establishing healthy and positive patterns through your day will help you maintain a more balanced life.
Know when to draw the line with yourself.
Setup timelines for when you need to get a project finished.
If you're tired, take a nap.
Eat healthier foods.
If you can help it, leave work at work.
If you are salary, you have that I'm always on-call feeling. Guess what, the world still turns and work will be there. Take care of yourself first! I was a salaried member of management for 12 years, I know what I'm talking about. Don't even do it to yourself.
Most important, please make time for YOU. Spend time doing those things that bring joy and enrichment to your life. Make a list of everything that bring you peace and fulfillment.
Please drink water. :)
I've covered a lot here, so I hope that you were able to recieve something good.
