::Weekly Tea:: Journal Prompt

With the holidays fast approaching, it becomes even more important to set healthy boundaries. We often get pulled in many directions because of overwhelming tasks. It's ok to say no and ask for help when necessary.

When you have to say no or refuse an offer, what feelings and emotions arise?

Many people experience burnout during the holiday season because they create some very high expectations, and don't want to disappoint the people they love.

Create a holiday to do list and a countdown list for the holiday season so you can set some healthy boundaries for yourself and possibly delegate tasks among friends and family.

Do you have difficulty asking for help?

So many of us do.

Asking for help is a sign of strength. Sometimes people wait to be asked before offering assistance because you are so good at pretending you got everything covered, when in reality, you are falling to pieces on the inside.

Don't go at it alone.

Ask.
